Do you know of any Clandestine Drug Labs?

March 22nd, 2007 | Bob Brown | Crime

Methamphetimine labs show up in unlikely places. I have heard of meth labs temporarily set up in church kitchens overnight and removed by morning. Just as disturbing is the use of hotel coffee pots to make meth. That would make morning services a bit weirder.

The surprising thing about Meth labs is that they are common even in small communities. I know that in the small town of Niceville, FL (where I used to live and preach) there were several of them. A child of a couple who visited with us for a short time was even busted for a Meth lab set up in an RV.

The DEA has a posted National Clandestine Laboratory Register that, while it doesn’t look as though it can be complete, it does show useful trends in drug use.
