As per a recent discussion in the Church Security forum on White Vans and Pick-Up Trucks I found this video from The Real Hustle to be enlightening.
Some lessons illustrated:
- People are suckers for official looking vehicles and uniforms.
- Most people don’t want to look like idiots or jerks in front of their friends or authorities.
- Real law enforcement will provide proper identification.

I wasn’t sure if I would post this or not, but it does fit in to this topic a bit. What connects here is how quickly they deferred to the shine of a badge from a security company. Later we can discuss about confronting potential criminals in a church late at night. Here is that post.
